Atomic Mildred doesn't leave home without "The Home Book" 1937
edited by the esteemed Mrs D D Cottington-Taylor (Director of Good Housekeeping Institute, Certificate Household and Social Science, Kings College London, First Class Diplomas in Cookery, High Class Cookery, Laundrywork and Housewifery
Ideal for bug hunting in the garden is utterly adorable "The Little Naturalist In The Garden" by The Rev. Theodore Wood.
This week I was very lucky to receive a parcel from the beautiful Curtise
Wonderful Cartes Visites, angelic pins, mad 50s/60s brooch, 1920s saucy postcard, naughty Jack Russell. And.... The most amazing tack-a-rama Virgin and Child clock with flashing LED.
Isn't she fabulous?
This week in the chazzas, I bought
Pressed flower brooch £1.95, wonky pansy cross stitch 95p, kinky white lace topped stockings 95p, large sample of Roger et Gallet's Eau De Cologne 50p and insect fabric 95p
I also snapped up this large sample of Yardley's April Violet in a local independent chemist. This perfume is now 100 years old and smells of Parma Violet sweets!
Atomic Mildred will be back on Friday for a pre holiday mood board!
